Kinja'd!!!

I finally got my replacement title in the mail (original got lost while moving). Now, I can finally sell it. Perfect timing, too, since the rainy season is off to a nice start.

The details: It’s a red NA. It’s a lot like most NAs in that it’s red and an NA.

The price: $2,900.

Cue the CL schmucks telling me my asking price is over KBB...

I heard Jake would be willing to offer $2 for it.

That’s a pretty good price out here in MI. Would probably sell today if it were here.

Rust free! Never seen salt! Lemme get you a shipping quote real quick! I just have to talk to my manager to see if I can knock off a little bit of the charge for the Zybart.

Very NP. Frankly, I’d ask more for it.

I had it listed for $3,250 before I realized the title was missing with nothing but a few tire kickers and low ballers... I think it’s worth more, too, but I’d like it to go away soon.

Have you posted it on Miata.net?

NP for a not-faded and good-looking NA. ‘94 is a strong year; first year of the 1.8L engine and last year of a truly functional oil pressure gauge.

I’m annoyed you’re on the west coast. I’m looking for a solid 94 or 95.

Damn, I’m really tempted to fly out there and drive it back. I already have a miata but this is in way nicer shape than mine and I paid 3100 for my 93 =(

I don’t suppose you have a further OPPO discount? haha

I’d ask more if I were you. 94 is *I think* the only year the 1.8 engine was coupled with an OBDI port. In 95 they started using OBDII ports. OBDI makes it easier to fool emissions while it’s turbo’ed, so this model year is particularly desirable for guys who plan on turbo’ing their Miata. And these days there are LOTS of those guys.

Find out if you have a Torsen LSD or not and put it on Miata.net, it should sell quick. You can ask a few hundred bucks more if it’s got the LSD.

NP. I sold mine one year ago for $3k, but found someone that actually wanted the mods I had done.

If it’s as clean as it looks in that pic, and I assume it is, NP.

Hmmm... Patrick has $3.00, and Nessie is working on scraping together $3.50. Can he do $4?

It does have a Torsen... forgot to put that in the ad.

Yeah, I agree with everyone, it’s NP. And your ad is good. Just wait and you’ll find someone. But seriously, you had me looking at plane tickets. If I didn’t already have one I’d buy it for that price.

Not sure, that is 4X the price of the last car he bought off of oppo

Definitely mention that in the ad...it’s getting hard to find to find a Torsen car that hasn’t been swapped out. If you were in a neighboring state I probably would have bought it by now!

With no rust and a Torsen, a 1.8 with less than 150K miles should get you $3K EASY. I paid $3,500 for a 1.8 with 130k miles and a Torsen, and that was over 4 years ago.

It must be your location, if you weren’t on the other side of the country I’d be making you an offer. That would be sold within minutes here in New England, even with winter coming. Put it up on miata.net and miataturbo.net and you should be able to start a little bidding war. Let us know how it turns out!
